A dramatic and hugely expressive original that oozes texture and life.
Inspired by the beautiful Cornish shoreline and the quaint harbours dotted along its coast, 'Coastal Layers' has a number of subtle pigments including river clays, welsh sands and earth from Scottish Munro 'Stob Binnein.'
Unique to this original is the inclusion of vibrant pastels, which are layered over the paint and show the extensive planning process. A means of seeing both the progress and the final piece in one go.
Each pigment has been mixed with pure stream water from Schiehallion - the Fairy Hill of the Caledonians.
