Gaze through the Grampian mountain range in this piece, watching the wild Scottish wind encompass it's weather worn Munro's. This is a hugely dynamic original and one of the most densely textured I have ever created. Made using pigment taken from the summits of Ben Lawers and Beinn Ghlas, 'Dance of the Highlands' has mounds of earth built onto the canvas. Though abstract, the dramatic peaks that emerge through its paint invoke a sense of history, embodying the ancient Scottish landscape and stiring the emotions.

'Dance of the Highlands' is finished with a deep vein of 22 carat gold.
