This dramatic panoramic piece has the most beautiful texture layered on thickly across the canvas. Blacks made from ground charcoal found in an old firepit, soil from an ancient forest, the last of my sage ground to make grey pigment and the water I use to make each into a paste is rain water. It's so pure and has a dramatic, almost etherial quality with the subtle harbour creeping onto the right.
